Abstract

JavaFX, was created to help you build rich internet applications (RIAs) and includes the tools and platform SDK for developers, web developers, and designers to create dynamic applications.  JavaFX is the best platform for delivering expressive content and cross-device services on mobile devices, desktops, and browsers. We will delve into the architecture of JavaFX, examine code samples, demonstrate tools for developing applications and provide several examples of JavaFX applications.

Bio

Scott Seighman is a Systems Engineer with Sun Microsystems. His primary focus is architecting open solutions that span the computing landscape, from embedded devices to large-scale enterprise applications. Based in Sun’s Cleveland office, Scott travels the Midwest engaging Fortune 1000 companies in a variety of technology discussions.
